Future Dynamics First To Conform To IPE API 10.300

Future Dynamics has today announced the conformance of "CROSSFIRE", front-end trading application, to the IPE API 10.300, provided by the IPE's parent IntercontinentalExchange. Following the successful completion of conformance testing, CROSSFIRE is now accepted as an IPE certified ISV solution, enabling traders to access and trade IPE products on the electronic platform.

Following the official result of the takeover bid by the Dutch company Victor Rijssen B.V. for the Dutch company Koninklijke Volker Wessels Stevin N.V. (Next 150), Koninklijke Volker Wessels Stevin will be removed from the Next 150 Index effective Tuesday 27 May 2003.

CBOT® Breaks Exchange Volume And Open Interest Records

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) today announced that new exchange daily volume and open interest records were set on May 21, 2003. Total exchange trading volume reached 2,750,567 contracts yesterday, eclipsing the previous volume record of 2,690,963 contracts traded on February 27, 2003. Open interest also reached an all-time exchange high of 8,805,148 contracts, surpassing the previous high of 8,611,989 set on May 20, 2003.

Listed companies on the Thai bourse have announced their operational performance for Q1 2003 showing total net profits of 74,033 million baht, a 63% increase from the same period last year. The top five sectors in terms of net profits are Energy, Building and Furnishing Materials, Communication, Transportation and Property Development.
