A two pronged approach focussing on the quality of past performance information and also on the overall balance of an advertisement will be adopted.

UK's Financial Reporting Council: The Higgs And Smith Reports: Next Steps Towards A Revised Combined Code Following Consultation

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Thursday, May 15, 2003: Canico Resource Corp. (TSXVN:CNI) will be removed from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index. The shares of the company will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange at that time. The company will graduate to the TSX to trade under the symbol "CNI" effective at the opening of trading on Friday, May 16, 2003.

Securities And Exchange Commission Designates Cairo And Alexandria Stock Exchanges As A "Designated Offshore Securities Market"

The Chairman of CASE, Dr. Sameh El Torgoman, is pleased to announce that the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has designated CASE as a "Designated Offshore Securities Market" on 16 April 2003. The designation follows an application made by CASE for consideration by the SEC for the status of a "designated offshore securities market" within the meaning of Rule 902(b) under Regulation S of the Securities Act of 1933.
