Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announced today that with effect from the commencement of trading on Monday, 2 February 2004, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contracts will be as outlined in the table below. HEX Tallinn 2003 Financial Results

The total turnover of HEX Tallinn, the group uniting Tallinn Stock Exchange and Estonian CSD, was EUR 2.5 million in 2003, up 23 pct from the previous year. The shareholders' equity stood at EUR 2 million at the end of the period. The consolidated net profit for year 2003 totaled EUR 0.6 million, compared to the result of EEK 0.1 million the year before. The results are unaudited.

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) reported today that Eurodollar trading on its GLOBEX® electronic trading platform hit a new single-day trading record of 240,314 contracts, topping the previous record set Aug. 1 by more than 93,000. The GLOBEX Eurodollar volume represented 13.8 percent of the approximately 1.8 million Eurodollar contracts traded Wednesday.

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced today that it is investigating two matters of broad public interest.
