Signing Of Agreement For Common Cyprus Stock Exchange – Athens Stock Exchange Platform

The Chairmen of the Athens Stock Exchange and the Cyprus Stock Exchange, Messrs. Spyros Kapralos and Akis Cleanthous signed on Friday, September 16, 2005 the agreement for the common ASE - CSE platform. The ceremony was attended by the Greek Ambassador in Cyprus, Demetrios Rallis and representatives of the stock market. The signing of the agreement signals the cooperation of the two stock exchanges and accelerates the procedures for its completion.

SGX Announces The 10 OTC General Clearing Members

Singapore Exchange (“SGX”) is pleased to announce that 10 General Clearing Members have confirmed their participation in the SGX Over-The-Counter (“OTC”) Clearing business. This is in line with the SGX’s plans to launch the SGX OTC Clearing Facility in the first quarter of 2006 for the clearing of energy derivatives and forward freight agreements (“FFA”).

Euronext.liffe Announces Launch Date For Bclear – The New Administration And Clearing Service For Wholesale Equity Derivatives

Euronext.liffe, the international derivatives business of Euronext, today announced that it will launch Bclear, its new ‘on–exchange’ cleared service for the wholesale equity derivatives market, on 24 October. Bclear forms the core of three integrated services - Afirm, Bclear and Cscreen, announced in April, which will offer customers straight-through processing (STP) for wholesale equity derivatives transactions.
