Citigroup And Clearstream Launch New Quad-Party Financing Services - Barclays Capital Becomes First Client With Ground-Breaking Trade

Citigroup Global Transaction Services, a business line of Citigroup Corporate and Investment Banking, Clearstream and Barclays Capital have executed the first ever quad-party securities financing trade, following a collaborative effort to develop a new collateral custody service facility to enable easier financing of international and domestic assets.

CFTC Proposes Rule Clarification For Commodity Trading Advisors

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced today that it is soliciting public comment on a proposed rule that would define the term “client” of a commodity trading advisor (CTA) and confirms the Commission’s antifraud authority over all CTAs, irrespective of whether they provide advice on a personalized or nonpersonalized basis.

Cairo And Alexandria Stock Exchanges: CASE 30 Index Putting On Additional 500 Points

CASE 30 Index broke a record level on 27/9/2005, surpassing the 5500 points for the first time since its inception to record a robust increase of 107 percent from the beginning of the year. The Index has gained 103.82 points on that day only to conclude at 5518.7 points.
