Shanghai Stock Exchange To Propel Overall Listing

Governor Geng Liang of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) said at the Shanghai Financial Work Meeting yesterday (February 27) that the SSE, to propel the overall listing pace of domestic companies, would tack active measures to create more favorable systems and market environment for listed companies' merger, acquisition and reorganization. All this will impel further optimization and development of the current listed companies.

UAL Corporation To Join The NASDAQ-100 Index Beginning March 8, 2007

UAL Corporation (Nasdaq:UAUA) of Elk Grove Township, Illinois, will become a component of the NASDAQ-100 Index(r) (Nasdaq:NDX), the NASDAQ-100 Equal Weighted Index (Nasdaq:NDXE), and the NASDAQ-100 Ex Technology Index(Nasdaq:NDXX) prior to market open on March 8, 2007. UAL Corporation will replace American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (Nasdaq: AEOS). UAL Corporation will also be included in the NASDAQ-100 Index Tracking StockSM (Nasdaq:QQQQ).

Shinhan Financial Group Company Limited will increase its IWF from 0.8531 to 1 due to a sell down of 19.446 million shares by Korea Deposit Insurance Corp.. The change will become effective after the close of trading on Thursday March 8, 2007.
