The American Stock Exchange (Amex) announced today the launch of three new exchange-traded funds from PowerShares Capital Management LLC. The new funds will track the performance of Mergent's widely watched family of Dividend Achievers Indexes.

Warsaw Exchange Announces The WIG Index New All-Time High

WIG, all-share index, closed at its highest ever level since its launch in April 1991. The market benchmark reached today the new all time high with 32,468.53 points. The previous record was set on September 13, 2005 with 32,428.31.

RTS Stock Exchange Launches An Option On RTS Index

On September 15th, 2005, FORTS, the RTS Stock Exchange derivatives market, will start trading an option contract on futures on the RTS Index. Options will be exercised in December 2005 and March 2006, the contract size is 1 futures contract on the RTS Index.
