    Today, March 14, 2003, for the first time in the history of Russian securities market, the system of ordering mutual fund units on secondary market at net asset value (NAV) was introduced. NAV was calculated by the Asset management company on the last day of accepting orders.

    Sydney Futures Exchange has experienced the largest transaction volume in its history, with 640,605 futures and options contracts traded on the exchange during March 13, 2003. This compares with the previous record of 454,393 set on September 12, 2002.

    Swap futures at the Chicago Board of Trade continue to surge ahead as the momentum in March builds. Trading volume yesterday was 24,836 with record electronic volume (14,835). The open interest rose to 63,383, also a record level. The 10-year swap future is averaging over 4,600 contracts a day for 2003.
