The continuing resolution funding the Securities and Exchange Commission for fiscal 2003 since Oct. 1, 2002 has been extended through Jan. 11, 2003. As of December 2, 2002, a new derivative instrument, a futures contract on the US dollar, will start trading on the RTS Stock Exchange. The decision to introduce a new product was made by the RTS Derivatives Market Committee on November 21st, 2002.
