Copenhagen Stock Exchange: GP Børsmæglerselskab - New member Of The Exchange's XtraMarked

The Copenhagen Stock Exchange has approved GP Børsmæglerselskab as member of the XtraMarked, and the members now total 29, of which 14 offer trading via the Internet. Four members are remote members/foreign.

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®") today announced trading volume of 23,953,909 contracts for February 2002, up 14.9% from February 2001 and up 4.9% January 2002. Volume for the first two months of 2002 was 46,792,813, up 12.0% from 2001.

ABCH reported somewhat subdued results for the year ended 31 December 2001. Net interest income rose 45% to P140.5m, while other income rose 282% to P241.5m. Total income went up 129% to P466.9m. An increase of 151% to P218.9m in other operating expenditure, plus a charge of P167.7m being provisions for exchange rate movements, resulted in net operating income declining 31% to P80.3m compared with P116.6m in the previous year. Profit before tax and exceptional items came in at P85.3m and was 15%
Best February On Record For IPE

The IPE, Europe's leading energy futures and options exchange, recorded the best February in the Exchange's 21-year history, beating the previous February record reached in 2000. Records were set for total market together with IPE Brent Crude futures, IPE Gas Oil futures and IPE Natural Gas futures.

Kosdaq 50 is a market capitalization weighted index for the largest 50 issues that represent the Kosdaq stock market. Since November 27, 2000, Kosdaq Stock Market Inc. has published the index for the purpose of offering a new benchmark, which can be also used as a basis for financial derivatives. The index was set at 100.00 with the base date of January 4,1999. Kosdaq 50 option and Kosdaq 50 future are currently traded in the Korea Futures Exchange.
World's First Exchange-Traded Index Fund On MSCI World In XTF - Seven New Index Funds And Two New Actively Managed Funds - Deutsche Börse Calculates Indicative NAVs For Active Funds Continuously For First Time

Deutsche Börse AG is further expanding its XTF Exchange Traded Funds segment. From Friday, seven new index funds can be traded on MSCI indices - including the world's first index fund on the MSCI World. In addition, two actively managed exchange-traded funds have been launched - the Unico ConClusio European Equities and Unico ConClusio Global Equities. This will be the first time that index funds on MSCI indices can be traded through the Xetra electronic trading system.
