  • The Central Bank Of Iceland Auctions Repurchase Agreements For 32.1 Billion

    The Central Bank of Iceland held a weekly auction of repurchase agreements on May 15 of the maturity of 14 days. The auction was a fixed rate one at 10.9 per cent p.a. Offers were made for a total amount of 32.1 billion krónur resulting in repurchase contracts for that amount.

    MEFF (the Spanish Futures and Options Exchange), Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) and Standard & Poor's today announced a June 21 launch date for stock index futures and options contracts on the S&P Europe 350 Index, along with its Financial, Information Technology and Telecom Services sector indexes. The products will be the first futures instruments that will trade on a European exchange and clear on a U.S. exchange.
