Stock Exchange Of Thailand Announces New List Of Securities For Calculation Of SET50 Index

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has announced the new list of securities to be used in the calculation of the SET50 Index, effective for the period July 1 - December 31, 2001. The 50 securities on the list are selected according to market capitalization and liquidity criteria, based on data from June 1, 2000 to May 31, 2001. Pacific Exchange Elects Lynne A. Keck Vice Chairman - Members Approve Making Inactive Seat Owners Eligible for Board Of Governors

The Pacific Exchange (PCX) announced that its members elected Lynne A. Keck, President of Keck Securities, Vice Chairman of the Exchange Board of Governors. Ms. Keck was elected to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Daniel H. Turner, who left the PCX to pursue other professional interests. Ms. Keck will serve until January 2002. She received 371 votes.

KCBT Wheat Options Open Interest Exceeds 45,000 Contracts

Open interest in Kansas City Board of Trade wheat options has broken through the 45,000 barrier, with open interest at 45,108 contracts at the conclusion of trade on Thursday, June 13. Over the last month open interest has been steadily increasing after shattering the previous record of 32,916 contracts, which was set on Aug. 17, 2000.

CME Contract Specifications Changes: Nonfat Dry Milk

The CME Contract Specifications pages on the CME's Web site have been updated to reflect the following: Effective Monday, June 18, 2001, the opening time for trading of the Nonfat Dry Milk futures and options (NF) will change from 9:40a.m. to 9:25 a.m. Note: the closing time is unchanged at 1:10 p.m.

Clearnet Expands Clearing Services For OTC Transactions

At the beginning of June, an operational link was set up between ETCMS, the trade capture and matching system for OTC trades developed by Euroclear, and the Clearnet clearing system. This is in addition to existing links with other platforms for which Clearnet clears OTC transactions.
