    At a meeting on 20 June 2000, the Board of Directors of the FUTOP Clearing Centre decided that the solution for the Danish derivatives market would be to: move share derivatives and derivatives on the KFX Index to the Swedish trading system CLICK; interest rate derivatives are transferred to SAXESS, and all products are cleared via the Swedish SECUR instead of the FUTOP system.

  • Paris Bourse Midcap Trading Data - Trading In Midcaps Reaches Record Highs In 1st-Half 2000 - June Figures Steady

    Mid-size stocks traded on the Second Marché and Nouveau Marché in Paris turned in a record performance in the first half of 2000, with transactions totaling EUR 20.33 bn compared with EUR 15.8 bn for the whole of 1999. The number of trades reached 6.5 million, nearly twice the full-year 1999 figure of 3.7 million.

    The Central Bank of Iceland held a weekly auction of repurchase agreements on July 25, of the standard maturity of 14 days. The auction was a fixed rate one at 10.6 per cent p.a. Offers were made for a total amount of 20 billion krónur resulting in repurchase contracts for that amount.
