Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Announces Opening Trading Day For Revised Feed Wheat Contract

Winnipeg Commodity Exchange (WCE) has set Wednesday, February 14, 2001 as opening trading day for the revised feed wheat futures contract, effective with the listing of the Oct 01 contract. Trading in the new contract design, which was unveiled in January, was approved by the Manitoba Securities Commission earlier this week.

KPMG Consulting Lists on Nasdaq - Second Largest Domestic IPO In Nasdaq History

KPMG Consulting Chief Executive Officer Rand Blazer opens trading on The Nasdaq Stock Market® today as the global consulting company launches its initial public offering of common stock. It will trade under the symbol KCIN. The McLean, Virginia-based firm is offering 112, 482,000 shares, priced at $18, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter is the underwriter.

CME Plans 'Side-by-Side' Electronic Trading Of Currency Futures April 2

In response to requests from customers, Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) will offer a choice of electronic or open outcry trading of its currency and cross-rate futures contracts. The new “side-by-side” program, approved yesterday by CME’s Board of Directors, will begin April 2.
