    The Chairman of the Capital Market Opportunity Center (CMOC) Ms. Sopawadee Lertmanaschai, announced that "In July, the Daidomon Group Public Co., Ltd. began trading on the Market for Alternative Investment (MAI) on July 30, while Shun Thai Rubber Gloves Industry Public Co., Ltd. initiated trading on August 1. This resulted in a 1,006.70 million baht increase in the market capitalization of the MAI, which was recorded at 2,148.15 million baht (as at August 1, 2002).

    The New York Stock Exchange today started trading six additional ETFs: iShares 1-3, 7-10, and 20+ Lehman Treasury Index Funds; iShares GS $ InvesTopTM Corporate Bond Fund; iShares MSCI Japan Index Fund; and the Vanguard Total Stock Market VIPERs. All six ETFs begin trading on the basis of unlisted trading privileges (UTP).
