  • HKFE Announces Margins For Twenty International Stock Futures Contracts

    Hong Kong Futures Exchange (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announced today (Wednesday) that with effect from the commencement of trading on Thursday, 4 October, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following International Stock Futures contracts will be as outlined in the table below.

  • CBOT To Launch New Mini-sized Contracts September 30

    Complementing its existing DowSMJonesSM, Treasury and Metal complexes, the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) will launch on Sunday, September 30, 2001, the following mini-sized contracts: DowSM futures based on the DJIASM (DowSMJones Industrial Average); 30-year U.S.Treasury Bond futures; 10-year U.S. Treasury Note futures; and New York Silver and New York Gold futures.
