CME Revises Launch Schedule For S&P SPCTR<sup>™</sup> Futures

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) today announced that the launch date for Energy SPCTR futures will be announced pending regulatory approval for the product. CME's new Financial and Technology SPCTR™ futures will begin trading on Monday, Sept. 23 at 8:30 a.m. (Central time), as previously announced.

SGX MSCI Singapore Index futures set new daily volume and open interest records on 27 Aug 02 with 19,573 and 15,641 contracts respectively. The previous records were set on 26 Jul 02 with 12,945 and 14,719 contracts respectively.

SFE Announces 2002 Half Year Results

SFE Corporation today released its financial results for the half year ending 30 June 2002. The full financial results for this period are attached to this release. The highlights include: Net profit after tax (NPAT) was $12.9 million, up from $11.8 million for the comparable prior half. Nymex To Adjust Margin Rates For Natural Gas Futures, Henry Hub Swaps, e-miNY Natural Gas Futures, And Natural Gas Basis Swaps

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., will change the margins on the first six months of its natural gas futures and Henry Hub natural gas swaps contracts, and on all months of its e-miNY natural gas futures and natural gas basis swaps contracts as of the close of business tomorrow.

NASDAQ Receives Unanimous Approval from SEC To Launch New SuperMontage Trading System

The NASDAQ Stock Market, Inc. today applauded the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) unanimous vote to approve NASDAQ's new SuperMontage trading system. Based on this vote, trading on SuperMontage will begin on or before October 11. In the event that no market participant chooses to meet the SEC certification requirement regarding use of the ADF as their primary stock facility, NASDAQ will commence trading on SuperMontage on September 17.
