  • The Central Bank Of Iceland Auctions Repurchase Agreements For 16.9 Billion Krónur

    The Central Bank of Iceland held a weekly auction of repurchase agreements on September 19 of the standard maturity of 14 days. The auction was a fixed rate one at 10.6 per cent p.a. Offers were made for a total amount of 16.9 billion krónur resulting in repurchase contracts for that amount.

  • Termination Of Kas-Associatie N.V.'s Facility For Trading In Amsterdam Exchanges N.V. Shares And Profit-sharing Certificates

    If the proposal to merge the exchanges in Paris (SBF), Brussels (BXS) and Amsterdam (AEX) is approved by the general meeting of shareholders of Amsterdam Exchanges N.V. on 21 September 2000, holders of shares in Amsterdam Exchanges N.V. will become holders of shares in Euronext N.V. by operation of law on the day following 22 September 2000 (the closing date of the merger). As from this day, 23 September 2000, it will no longer be possible to buy and sell shares in Amsterdam Exchanges N.V.<
