Nasdaq To Reinstate Requirements For Minimum Bid Price And Market Value Of Public Float - Grace Period For The SmallCap Market To Be Modified

The Nasdaq Stock Market® today announced its intent to reinstate requirements for minimum bid price and market value of public float for companies listed on the Nasdaq National Market® and The Nasdaq SmallCap MarketSM. While Nasdaq ® will maintain the existing grace periods for National Market companies to comply, it proposes to modify the grace period for minimum bid price on the SmallCap market. London Stock Exchange To Develop Trade Settlement At Euroclear, With Clearing By LCH

The London Stock Exchange, London Clearing House (LCH) and Euroclear today announce their joint agreement to develop straight-through settlement in Euroclear for London Stock Exchange trades cleared by LCH. The three organisations will be consulting with customers and users over the coming weeks and will launch the service in the second half of 2002.
HEX: Evening Trading Shortens By One Hour

Evening trading at Helsinki Exchanges will be shortened by one hour on April 2, 2002, from which date evening trading will end at 8 pm. Otherwise trading hours will remain unchanged.
FTSE Completes Final Index Review Of 2001

The final FTSE index reshuffle of 2001 was confirmed this afternoon at the regular quarterly FTSE Committee meeting. Only one company change will be made to the UK's blue chip FTSE 100 index, while the FTSE 25O, the UK mid cap index, will have seven company changes.
