    The International Securities Exchange (ISE) experienced significant growth in its market share and trading volume during November. ISE's market share in its 518 listed options was 25% in November, up 57%, compared to 16% in the same year-ago period.

  • Euronext: CEREOL Removed From Next 150 Index

    Following the official result of the takeover bid by the French company Bunge Investments France SA for the French company Céreol (Next 150 index), Céreol will be removed from the Next 150 index effective Monday 9 December 2002.

  • Copenhagen Stock Exchange: A Capped Version Of The KBX Index Will Be Available As From Friday 6 December 2002 - A Capped Version Of The KAX All-Share Index Will Follow In February

    As from Friday 6 December, a capped version of the KBX benchmark index will be available to investors in Danish shares. Both a capped price index and performance index of KBX will be calculated. The capped performance index will figure in the Official List and on the Exchange's website as do many of the other indices. KBX is a free float-adjusted benchmark index that follows the index rules of the NOREX Alliance.

    In advance of this week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on December 10, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT® 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.
