European Energy Exchange: 305,952 Megawatt Hours Traded In August - Highest Daily Turnover 25,950 MWh On Thursday
The European Energy Exchange EEX published ist first turnover figures for the month of August on Thursday. 305,952 megawatt hours (MWh) of electricity have been traded at EEX since the exchange was launched on August 8. Of this total, 68,472 MWh were traded in individual hours and 237,480 MWh in blocks. In block trading 97,848 MWh were peak-load and 139,632 MWh base-load hours. The highest daily volume at EEX to date was achieved on Thursday, August 31, with 25,950 MWh traded.

Copenhagen Stock Exchange: For The First Time Ever, The KFX Index Closed Above 330 - The Most Traded Share Was GN Store Nord Reaching A Turnover Of DKK 1.3bn.
Today, the KFX Index and the KFMX Index set a new record. The 29th record of the year for the KFX. The increase in the KFX index was mainly due to today's steep rise in GN Store Nord. The turnover in GN Store Nord amounted to more than DKK 1.3bn with a total turnover in the market of DKK 3.5bn.

CBOT Members Approve 3 Propositions in August 30 Ballot - CBOT® Members Approve 3 Propositions in August 30 Ballot Increasing Transaction Fee Rates and Establishing a Licensed Contract Fee and Block Trading Surcharge
Members of the Chicago Board of Trade in a vote conducted yesterday approved three propositions amending exchange rules that will increase member transaction fee rates, establish a new Licensed Contract Fee for non-member transactions in stock index and Municipal Bond Index contracts, and establish a new block trading surcharge.
