This list is valid for replacements that would occur from Monday 16 December up to and including Wednesday 15 January 2003 after trading hours. Eurex Bonds Offers World's First Bond Indices On Trading Data

On December 18, 2002, Eurex Bonds, the international electronic platform for trading in fixed-income securities, will launch a new index family with Deutsche Börse, initially comprising ten German bond indices. The new indices for fixed-income German federal bonds are based on prices for trades completed on Eurex Bonds as well as binding bid and ask prices. Deutsche Börse will use these data to calculate the bond indices minute by minute and disseminate them via the exchange's own data

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. Prices Initial Public Offering At $35 Per Share; Class A Common Stock To Begin Trading On NYSE Dec. 6

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. (NYSE: CME) yesterday priced its initial public offering of 4,751,070 shares of Class A common stock at $35 per share. A total of 3 million shares are being sold by the company. The remainder are being sold by existing shareholders. The company will not receive any proceeds from the sale of Class A shares by existing shareholders. The Class A common stock is expected to begin trading on Friday, Dec. 6.

CBOT Fed Watch

In advance of this week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on December 10, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT® 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.

Turnover for November was EUR 61,830.4 million. This compares to EUR 57,870.6 million in October. Domestic turnover in November was EUR 52,453.9 million, foreign turnover 8,189.7 million, Nuovo Mercato, Domestic, EUR 1,159.3 million, Nuovo Mercato, Foreign, EUR 6.6 million and on the Ristretto market EUR 20.9 million.

SWX Swiss Exchange: Discontinuation Of SNMI (SWX New Market Index)

Following consultation with the Index Commission, the Management Board of the SWX Swiss Exchange has decided that computation of the SNMI (SWX New Market Index) will cease as of 1 July 2003. The rationale behind this decision is the reduced meaningfulness of the SNMI as a market barometer. For a number of months now, waning interest in this market segment on the part of issuers has led to the fact that companies previously listed in the SWX New Market have changed to other trading segments. Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index: After the close of trading on Thursday, December 5, 2002, Carfinco Inc. (TSXVN:YCR) will be deleted from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index. The company has been converted into an income trust - Carfinco Income Fund (TSXVN: CFN.UN).
