Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited ("HKEx") is, in accordance with note (8) of Rule 2.07B(2) of the Listing Rules, making adequate arrangements to ascertain the wishes of members as to which language version of Corporate Communications of HKEx they wish to receive in the future.

From The Meeting Of The Board Of Oslo Børs On 27 February 2002

The Board of Oslo Børs decided at its meeting yesterday to admit Venus I (PGS/Veritas) to stock exchange listing. In addition, Nordea Securities AB and Fischer Partners have joined the stock exchange, and Goodtech ASA has been ordered to pay a penalty of NOK 100,000 for breach of the information requirement.

Consultation On Proposed Amendments To MSCI Index Rebalancing

MSCI released today a proposal to amend its index rebalancing policy for the MSCI Standard Index Series. Under this proposal, a more systematic distinction will be made between full country index reviews to be conducted on a fixed annual timetable, and quarterly index reviews aimed at rapidly reflecting significant market events. Any changes to the current policy will be announced before May 31, 2002, and will become effective on June 1, 2002.

CME Posts Record Globex® Electronic Volume As E-Mini S&P 500, E-Mini Nasdaq-100 Futures Set Volume Records

Trading volume on GLOBEX®, the electronic trading platform of Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME), posted a new record yesterday, with 672,931 contracts traded. This record surpasses the previous record of 652,220 contracts set on Jan. 30.

The leading month contact, KQ203 moved up and down in a relatively narrow range this week compared to the previous weeks. Against the previous week's weakness, the KOFEX fixed income market exhibited a strong upward trend this week. The USD/KRW rate showed an upward movement even if the Seoul bourse ended higher this week keeping a steady upward trend.
