Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Europe 350, S&P Europe Plus, S&P Euro and S&P United Kingdom Indices, effective at the close of trading on Friday 16th December 2005: Allied Irish Banks plc (Ireland, SEDOL 0019783, GICS: Financials, GICS Code: 40101010) a member of the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus and S&P Euro indices; the pricing source will be changed from LSE (London) to ISE (Dublin) due to liquidity reasons. New SEDOL is 4020684 and new RIC is ALBK.I.

The Financial Services Authority ("FSA") today imposed a public censure on Berkeley Independent Advisers Limited ("BIA") for system and control breaches. These breaches resulted in a failure to monitor adequately a sales strategy which advocated the sale of non-pension products as an alternative means of saving for retirement and a failure to ensure the suitability of sales arising from this strategy.

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Thursday, December 1, 2005: Absolute Software Corporation (TSXVN:ABT) will graduate to trade on the TSX under the same ticker symbol. The company will be removed from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index and delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange.
