The CBOT®30-Day Federal Funds futures contract for April 2002 was cash settled this morning at a final settlement price of 98.247, for an average overnight effective rate of 1.753 percent during the delivery month.
April Volume: CME Posts Best April Volume On Record And Third Busiest In Month In History

Trading volume on Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) posted its third busiest month ever and best April on record, with more than 43.7 million futures and options on futures contracts traded, up 38 percent from April 2001. Year-to-date volume totaled 164.2 million contracts, an increase of 32 percent over 2001. The underlying value of the contracts traded in April totaled $31.4 trillion.

The SET Board has approved a resolution to remove one of the prohibitions in the SET "Notification on Trading of Securities of a Member or a Company Having a Connection with another Member". Member companies were previously prohibited from including the total value of their own securities traded or the securities of other listed companies with whom they have a close connection in the calculation for the remuneration of securities companies' marketing officers.
