  • Over 70,000 Visitors Flock To The 1st Day Of “SET In The City 2004”

    The SET’s 3rd all-inclusive investment fair quickly became a big hit, drawing more than 70,000 visitors on its first day. It is expected that the overall number of visitors would reach 300,000 over all 4 days. Finance Minister Dr. Somkid said the government wanted to see total market capitalization reach THB six trillion within four years.

With only 10 trading days completed in November - a non-roll month - so far, November 2004 trading volume is already 80% greater than all of November 2003. Average daily volume in November has been 13,200 contracts. Open interest has surpassed 272,000 contracts.

  • Nymex Sets Record For Crude Oil Calendar Spread Options Volume

    Crude oil calendar spread options set a daily volume record on the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., yesterday, when 12,600 contracts were traded, surpassing the previous record of 11,010 contracts set on April 13, 2004.
