Securities And Exchange Commission Approves Rules Implementing Provisions of Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Accelerating Periodic Filings, and Other Measures

Nymex To Adjust Margin Rates For Natural Gas Futures, Henry Hub Swaps, e-miNY Natural Gas Futures, And Natural Gas Basis Swaps

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., will change the margins on the first six months of its natural gas futures and Henry Hub natural gas swaps contracts, and on all months of its e-miNY natural gas futures and natural gas basis swaps contracts as of the close of business tomorrow.

New Zealand Stock Exchange NZSE40 Index Review

The New Zealand Stock Exchange ("NZSE") is reviewing the composition and construction of its headline NZSE40 Index. No decision has been made in relation to this review. The NZSE is continuing discussion and consultation with key parties.

NASDAQ Receives Unanimous Approval from SEC To Launch New SuperMontage Trading System

The NASDAQ Stock Market, Inc. today applauded the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) unanimous vote to approve NASDAQ's new SuperMontage trading system. Based on this vote, trading on SuperMontage will begin on or before October 11. In the event that no market participant chooses to meet the SEC certification requirement regarding use of the ADF as their primary stock facility, NASDAQ will commence trading on SuperMontage on September 17.

Kansas City Board Of Trade Announces Trading Schedule For September 11

The Kansas City Board of Trade Value Lineâ and ISDEXâ futures contracts will have a delayed opening of 10:00 a.m. CT on September 11 in observance of the first anniversary of the tragedy that occurred on that date last year. The delay is in coordination with U.S. Stock and Commodities Exchanges.

Iceland Stock Exchange Did Not Open For Trading Today Due To A Failure In CANTAT3

ICEX will not open for trading today due to a failure in the CANTAT3 fiber cable. Efforts by Landssimi Islands hf (Iceland Telecom, listed company, symbol SIMI) to establish a satellite link through which telecommuncations traffic between Iceland and the rest of the world can be re-routed have so far been unsuccessful. These efforts are expected to succeed soon. Therefore, ICEX expects regular trading hours tomorrow.
