    TIFFE announced that trading for all contracts starts at 8:45am(JST) on 13 December 2002, responding to the release of a BOJ's TANKAN report at 8:50am. Normal trading starts at 9:00am on TIFFE, but trading starts 15 minutes earlier at 8:45am on the announcement days of BOJ's TANKAN report, BOJ's Outlook and Risk Assessment of the Economy and Prices, a preliminary report on Indices of Industrial Production and a GDP figure.

  • SWX Swiss Exchange Reprimands LEM Holding SA

    SWX Swiss Exchange has issued a reprimand with publication against LEM Holding SA, Grand-Lancy, for breach of the Listing Rules. The SWX reprimand relates in particular to the failure to disclose segment results within the consolidated financial statements for the 2000/2001 financial year. The group's auditors also qualified their audit report as a result of incomplete segment reporting.

    Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index: After the close of trading on Friday, December 6, 2002, Boulder Mining Corp. (TSXVN: YBR) will change its symbol to BDR. There is no change in the company's name, no change in its CUSIP number and no consolidation of capital.

  • SET Breaks New Listing Records with Six Companies Joining in a Roll

    The Stock Exchange of Thailand has announced that there will be six new listings in December. It has recently welcomed Charn Issara Development, Trinity Wattana, and Ratchthani Leasing onto the SET, plus Siam Future Development on the MAI. Companies getting listed by the end of this year will have their corporate income tax reduced to 25% and 20% for listing on these two markets respectively starting from 2003 accounting periods.
