    Turnover The total turnover on all market segments of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) in August 2003 amounted to SIT 26.9 billion, which was 18.8% more than the previous month , and 4.4% more than this year's monthly average. In comparison to August 2002, turnover decreased by 29.6%, or by SIT 11.3 billion.

  • IPE Announces The Introduction Of Parallel Trading For Its Brent Contract

    The IPE, Europe's leading energy futures and options exchange, today gave three weeks' notice of the introduction of parallel trading for its Brent Crude futures contract. This means that IPE Brent Crude futures will be traded both open outcry and electronically, side by side, from Monday 6 October 2003.

Total open interest as of September 12th, 2003, equaled 3 830 million rubles and 514 thousand contracts (as of September 5th, 2003, the numbers were 4 086 million rubles and 533 thousand contracts).
