HKEx Moment Of Silence In Memory Of The Victims Of The Events In US
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd will observe a moment of silence with all Exchange Participants of Cash and Derivatives Markets as a mark of respect for the victims of the 11 September 2001 events in the United States. Chairman of HKEx Mr Charles Lee will give a short remark at 9.56 a.m. on Monday before the stock market opens. Chief Executive Mr Kwong Ki-chi, Chief Operating Officer Mr Frederick Grede and Deputy Operating Officer Mr Lawrence Fok will also attend the ceremony. HK

Frankfurt Stock Exchange And Eurex Will Resume Trading In U.S. Securities On Monday - Trading Will Start At The Same Time As On U.S. Exchanges.
FWB, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and the derivatives exchange Eurex will resume trading in US stocks as well as futures and options on the Dow Jones Global Titans index at the same time as the U.S. exchanges; the U.S. markets have said they intend to start trading at 3.30 p.m. CET on Monday, September 17.

Tokyo Stock Exchange: Delayed Start To Trading And Reduction Of Daily Price Limit (14 September)
Due to the terrorist attack in New York, and in order to minimise market volatility, Tokyo Stock Exchange will delay the open of the market until 09:30 (a 30 minute delay) and reduce its daily price limit (the maximum parameters within which prices may fluctuate) by half (14 September).

Tokyo Stock Exchange: Cancellation Of The Temporary Reductions In Stock Price Limits - 17 September
Upon discussing whether or not to continue the temporary reductions in stock price limits for next week's trading, a decision has been made to cancel those temporary reductions and resume normal trading on Monday.

Three Minutes' Silence At Helsinki Exchanges
Following Wednesday's decision by the European Council to call for a day of mourning on Friday 14 September in the light of the tragic events in the United States, HEX will observe three minutes' silence. HEX will halt trading for three minutes starting at 13:00 local time (12.00 CET) and recommends that members observe the silence.

The National Stock Exchange of Lithuania (NSEL) opened its doors on September 14, 1993, more than 50 years after the last bourse in Lithuania ceased its operations. The rebirth of the Lithuanian securities market and establishment of a stock exchange was brought about by active market economy reforms.
