Clearstream Completes Phase 2 Of 'Automated Daytime Bridge' With Euroclear - Phase 2 Implemented Over Last Weekend As Planned

Clearstream, the custody and settlement division of Deutsche Börse Group, announced today that it successfully implemented, on schedule, the second phase of the new Automated Daytime Bridge service with Euroclear over the last weekend 13/14 November 2004. The 'Bridge' is an electronic communications link which facilitates the efficient settlement of securities transactions between counterparties in Clearstream Banking Luxembourg and Euroclear Bank.

WCE’s Transition To Electronic Trading Receives Regulatory Approval

The Manitoba Securities Commission (“MSC”) has approved the continued registration of Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Inc. (“WCE”) under an electronic trading environment scheduled to launch on Monday, December 20, 2004. The MSC also approved the continued designation of WCE Clearing Corporation as the designated clearing house for WCE with certain back office clearing processing services to be provided by the Kansas City Board of Trade Clearing Corporation.
