The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., will change the margins and spot month assessment fees on some of the NYMEX Division natural gas basis and index swap futures contracts at the close of business today.

Monthly Market Report For November 2004 - Average Value Traded On London Stock Exchange Up 31 Per Cent On November Last Year

The average daily value of equities traded across the London Stock Exchange during November 2004 was £20.7 billion, a 31 per cent increase on the average daily value traded during the same month last year. The average daily number of equity trades was 293,935. The total value of equity trading during the month was £454.7 billion, an increase of 44 per cent on November last year.

FTSE Group Announces Review Results - Tate & Lyne Joins FTSE 100

Global index provider, FTSE Group, today confirms changes to its FTSE UK Index Series, which includes the blue chip FTSE 100, mid cap FTSE 250 and FTSE SmallCap indices. The changes were approved by the FTSE Europe, Middle East and Africa Regional Committee at its regular meeting this afternoon.

CME Raises Order Quantity For Equity Index Futures On CME® Globex®

In response to customer demand, CME will increase its order quantity limit on all electronically traded equity index futures contracts listed on CME® Globex®. The maximum order size will be increased from 400 to 1,500 contracts for E-mini(TM) S&P 500® and E-mini NASDAQ-100© futures contracts. The order quantity on all other stock index futures will be increased from 400 to 500 contracts. Clearstream Sees Strong Growth In November 2004

Clearstream experienced strong growth throughout its core businesses in November 2004. The value of assets held in custody on behalf of customers rose to approximately EUR 7.6 trillion, a rise of 3.3 percent from the same month last year.
