The Chicago Board of Trade has established the following trading schedule in connection with the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays: Thursday, Dec. 23 Open auction: Agricultural and Financial contracts will close at 12:00 p.m. (Mini-sized ag contracts will close at 12:30 p.m.) Stock Index contracts will close at 3:15 p.m. Electronic trading: Dow/AIG Commodity Index contracts will close at 12:00 p.m.&

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced today that on December 6, 2004, the CBOE S&P 500 BuyWrite Index (BXM) was awarded the Most Innovative Benchmark Index distinction, and the CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) Futures product received the Most Innovative Index Derivative Award at the Super Bowl of Indexing Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced that at 2:50 pm CST (Chicago time) CBOE experienced a floor-wide systems problem that interrupted order routing and the dissemination of price and quote reports. Systems were restored beginning at 3:02 pm. CST, and no problems are expected for tomorrow's trading.

Domestic turnover in November was EUR 65,394.5 million, foreign turnover EUR 7,365.8 million, Nuovo Mercato, Domestic, EUR 1,578.4 million, Nuovo Mercato, Foreign EUR 50.2 million and on the Mercarto Expandi market EUR 53.8 million.
ArcaEx Releases November 2004 Transaction Volume Data

Archipelago Holdings, Inc. (PCX: AX) today announced its November 2004 market transaction volume data for the Archipelago Exchange ("ArcaEx"). Specifically, in NYSE-listed equity securities, ArcaEx's total trading market share was up both year-over-year and sequentially, growing from 1.1% in November 2003 to 2.4% in November 2004 and from 2.3% in October 2004.
