BOVESPA had a foreign investment net outflow of US$ 739.4 million in April, resulting from purchases of US$ 3.17 billion and sales of US$ 3.91 billion. BOVESPA's year-to-date balance on foreign capital totaled US$ 338.53 million, as of April 29.

In April 2005 total trading volume on the JSC "RTS Stock Exchange" increased by 5.3 times and reached 14 931 million rubles compared with 2 788 million rubles in March. The second-tier stock turnover equaled 6 847 million rubles, 46% of the total trading volume.
