The Philadelphia Stock Exchange Announces April Volume - Sector Index Options Volume increases

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange announced today that volume in April in sectors index options increased 9.67% when 585,331 contracts traded compared to 533,712 contracts traded in the previous month. Sectors index options volume in April declined 10.27% compared to the same year-ago period when 652,295 contracts traded.

HRW Wheat Crop Tour Results In - 2005 Hard Red Winter Wheat Tour Estimate For Kansas At 46.2 Bushels Per Acre

The final estimate for the 2005 hard red winter wheat tour sponsored by the Wheat Quality Council was announced today at the Kansas City Board of Trade. The final participant estimate for the three-day tour average was a yield of 46.2 bushels per acre, 8.8 bushels higher than the 2004 estimate of 37.4 bushels per acre.
