    The New York Stock Exchange has appointed Jeffrey H. Eubank as vice president, Global Affairs, effective today. He will report to President and Co-Chief Operating Officer Catherine R. Kinney. Mr. Eubank, 43, will manage relationships between the NYSE and government policy makers around the world, including heads of state, finance ministers, cabinet officials, ambassadors and consuls generals.   • NYMEX And General Atlantic Sign Definitive Agreement For $135 Million Equity Investment In NYMEX

    NYMEX Holdings, Inc. and General Atlantic LLC announced today that they have signed a definitive agreement by which General Atlantic will invest $135 million for a 10% equity stake in NYMEX. Following the completion of the transaction, General Atlantic will not own any trading rights, which will remain with NYMEX members. The definitive agreement follows the letter of intent announced by NYMEX on September 20, 2005.

Dollar Index® (symbol DX) futures contract, which trades exclusively at the New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®), has seen five open interest records over the last ten days, the most recent being 40,158 contracts established November 10, replacing the previous high of 39,287 futures contracts set on November 9. The record stretch of trading in the USDX began on November 4 at 37,778 contracts.
