CBOE Board Approves Details Of Purchase Offer For CBOT Exercise Rights - Purchase Offer Information To Be Sent By September 20
The Chicago Board Options Exchange Board of Directors approved the final details of a proposed offer to purchase a number of CBOE exercise rights held by Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) Full Members.

CBOE and NSX Boards Approve Plan To Reduce CBOE Interest In NSX
The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSX) today announced that their governing Boards have approved a proposal for CBOE to sell most of its NSX Certificates of Proprietary Membership ("Certificates") to NSX, and to relinquish CBOE's accompanying rights to NSX Board positions. CBOE's Board of Directors approved the proposal at its meeting today. NSX's Board of Trustees approved the proposal at its meeting on August 10, 2004.

Borsa Italiana: Futures Based On The S&P/MIB Index: "No-Action Letter" By The CFTC - Futures And MiniFutures Based On The S&P/MIB Can Now Be Offered And Sold In The United States
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission's (CFTC's) Office of General Counsel issued a no-action letter on August 31, 2004, permitting the offer and sale in the United States of the Mercato Italiano Dei Derivati's ("IDEM's") futures contracts based on the S&P/MIB Index ("S&P/MIB") %u2014 the S&P/MIB Futures Contract and the miniFutures Contract - in accordance with the relevant US Regulations.

Standard & Poor’s Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index
Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Monday, September 13, 2004: Coral Gold Corp. (TSXVN:CLH) will change its name to Coral Gold Resources Ltd. The company will trade under the new ticker symbol “CGR” and the shares will be consolidated on a 1-for-10 basis.

Record Volume Day For SFE 30 Day Interbank Cash Rate Futures
On 10 September 2004 Sydney Futures Exchange experienced the largest transaction volumes on record for the SFE 30 Day Interbank Cash Rate Futures contracts. The total volume for the day was 12,643, up 8% compared to the previous record of 11,665 contracts set on August 4, 2004. Open interest in the contract is currently at 55,351 contracts.
