Philadelphia Stock Exchange Announces January Volume
The Philadelphia Stock Exchange announced today that for the month of January, equity trading volume increased 35.14% when 281,118,277 shares traded compared to the same month last year when 208 016,767 shares traded. Equity volume increased 22.79% compared to the previous month's volume when 228,940,265 shares traded.

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., announced yesterday that 47,308 futures contracts were traded on the NYMEX ACCESS® electronic trading system last night, a record for overnight electronic trading.

New Listing Rules, Requiring The Observance Of The Code Of Corporate Behaviour, Came Into Force On MICEX On 1 February
The new rules of listing and access to the distribution and circulation of securities came into force on the MICEX on 1 February. They require issuers to observe the Code of corporate behaviour and provide reports in compliance with the International Accounting Standards. Besides, the rules enable the circulation of investment trusts' units.

Deutsche Börse: Results Of Business Year 2002 Materially Above Guidance
Deutsche Börse AG on Friday announced that it would significantly exceed its targeted Earnings before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) for the year ended 31 December 2002: the target of 320 million euros would be exceeded by approximately 10 percent giving an expected result of 350-355 million euros after goodwill and exceptional charges. The higher profit stems from the positive development in trading activity in the fourth quarter of 2002, which has remained strong in January 2003.

CME Reduces Tick Size For Spread Trading In E-mini S&P 500<SUP><SMALL>®</SUP></SMALL>
The Board of Directors of Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) has approved a modification to the tick size for trading of calendar spreads in its E-mini™S&P 500® and its E-mini NASDAQ-100® contracts.
