João Freixa To Leave Euronext

General Electric Settles SEC Action For Disclosure Failures In Connection With Its Former CEO's Benefits Under His Employment And Retirement Agreement
The Securities and Exchange Commission announced today that it has instituted settled enforcement proceedings against General Electric Company. The Commission charged that GE failed to fully describe the substantial benefits it had agreed to provide its former chairman and CEO John F. Deutsche Börse Appoints Jeffrey Tessler To The Executive Board - Tessler To Assume Responsibility For Banking And Custody - Tessler Also To Become CEO Of Clearstream International
On Monday, the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG appointed Jeffrey Tessler to the Executive Board effective October 6. Tessler will be responsible for the Banking and Custody Area within Customers/Markets. In a next step as of December 10 he will also become Chief Executive Officer of Clearstream International S.A.

CBOT Mini-Sized Dow Options Open Interest Surpasses 50,000
The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) announced today that open interest in the CBOT mini-sized Dow(SM) options contract surpassed 50,000 contracts for the first time and set its tenth consecutive record on Wednesday, September 22. Open interest in mini-sized Dow options, which trade exclusively on the exchange’s premier electronic trading platform, rose to 51,808 contracts, surpassing the previous record of 45,042 contracts set on September 21.
