Attorney General Eliot Spitzer said today that two executives of a Florida-based investment company have pleaded guilty to state criminal charges in connection with the ongoing investigation of illegal trading practices in the mutual fund industry. National Stock Exchange(SM) Shatters Annual Records In 2004: Number Of Trades More Than Doubles And Share Volume Soars 81 Percent From 2003 Record Levels

National Stock Exchange (NSX(SM)) today announced that both total trades and share volume in 2004 reached the highest annual level in the Exchange's 120-year history. NSX posted a record-breaking 301.3 million trades in 2004, up 107 percent from the previous annual record of 145.6 million set in 2003. Share volume in 2004 of 124.4 billion surged 81 percent from 2003's record 68.9 billion.
