Mutual Fund Manager MFS Pays $50 Million Fine To Settle SEC Enforcement Action - Firm Failed To Adequately Disclose Use Of Mutual Fund Brokerage Commissions To Pay For "Shelf Space" At Brokerage Firms
The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced a settled enforcement action against Massachusetts Financial Services Company (MFS) related to the company's use of mutual fund assets - namely, brokerage commissions on mutual fund transactions - to pay for the marketing and distribution of mutual funds in the MFS Fund Complex (MFS Funds). Deutsche Börse AG closed fiscal year 2003 with a record result. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose by 29 percent to total €453 million. Copenhagen Stock Exchange: The KFX Index In Connection With The Merger And Demerger Of The Present Group 4 Falck
On 24 February 2004, Group 4 Falck announced that the company had entered into an agreement with Securicor to merge the two companies' security businesses into a new jointly owned company listed on both the London Stock Exchange and the Copenhagen Stock Exchange. Group 4 Falck will at the same time be split in two new companies, Group 4 and Falck, which will both be listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
