Bin Shabib & Associates (BSA) today announced the formal opening of its new offices in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). As the first UAE based law firm to have been registered by the DFSA to operate out of DIFC as an Ancillary Service Provider, BSA is now based in the financial hub of Dubai amidst other leading international and local companies.

NASDAQ Introduces An Israeli Equities Index

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (NASDAQ(r)) (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced plans to introduce the NASDAQ Israel Index(sm) (Nasdaq:ISRQ), which is designed to track the performance of U.S.-listed companies that are incorporated in Israel. NASDAQ began disseminating the index on November 17.

Securities And Exchange Commission: Fee Rate Advisory #4 For Fiscal Year 2007

The continuing resolution funding the Securities and Exchange Commission for fiscal 2007 since Oct. 1, 2006, has been extended through December 8, 2006. Therefore, fees paid under Section 6(b) of the Securities Act of 1933 and Sections 13(e), 14(g) and 31 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 will remain at their current rates.

Please be advised that effective 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2006, the Exchange will temporarily suspend the acceptance and posting of bids and offers on COMEX Full Seats. All bids and offers on file with the Membership Department as of that time will be null and void. Two new seat records were set today at the New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®), the world’s leading “soft” commodity exchange. The first record seat sale was for $1,335,000, followed by another sale for $1,400,000. The previous high for a NYBOT seat was $1,100,000, set on November 14, 2006.
