RTS Stock Exchange Becomes The Controlling Shareholder Of The Depositary And Clearing Company

Non-profit partnership "RTS Stock Exchange" has announced the purchase of the controlling interest (52.18%) in the closed joint-stock company "Depositary and Clearing Company" from the non-profit partnership "DCC". Cash assets equal to 3 million US dollars were transferred to the appropriate account of "DCC" on May 16 th , 2005. The record confirming the transfer of rights was obtained from the Central Moscow Depositary on May 23 rd , 2005.

The e-miNYsm futures contract surpassed its previous annual volume record on the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., on May 19 when the total reached 1 million contracts for the year, surpassing the annual record of 856,544 contracts set in 2004.

NYBOTs Cocoa Contract Now Deliverable On eCOPS

The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced today that it has added the unique capability to process Cocoa delivery on its eCOPS® system and has begun the process of converting each paper warehouse receipt for cocoa to an eCOPS Electronic Warehouse Receipt (EWR). The system, which is now active for the July Cocoa delivery, offers the user increased cost savings and efficiency, with greater speed and convenience of electronic documentation and transfer.
