  • CBOE Futures Exchange's January Volume Rises 105% Over Year-Ago - Monthly Volume In VIX Futures Increases 91%

    The CBOE Futures Exchange, LLC (CFE) announced today that trading volume during January 2008 totaled 96,743 contracts, an increase of 105% over January 2007's volume of 47,121 contracts. January's average daily volume was 4,607 contracts, compared to the year-ago average daily volume of 2,356 contracts. January 2008's total volume was the fifth busiest month on record at CFE.
