Focus On WCE Western Barley Futures Prices
The western barley nearby futures ended the month at $158.00 per tonne, only slightly below the high for the month of $159.80 per tonne, which was reached in mid-September. SGX To Raise CAP On Securities Clearing Fee
Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) today announced that, for securities trades above $200,000, the maximum clearing fee (or fee "cap") will be raised from $100 to $200 with effect from 1 December 2001. The current clearing fee of 0.05% of the contract value will be maintained.

Instinet Reports U.S. Share Volume For September 2001
Instinet Group Incorporated (Nasdaq: INET) announced today that its U.S. equity volume in September 2001 totaled 4,713 million shares. This compared to 5,482 million shares in September 2000 and 5,039 million shares in August 2001.

Deutsche Börse: US Segment Off To Successful Start - Xetra Market Share Five Times Higher
Two weeks after the launch of its new U.S. segment on Xetra, Deutsche Börse has an initial positive assessment: Turnover and market share for electronic trading have increased considerably.
