CME, the world's largest and most diverse financial exchange, announced today that its European headquarters will move operations to a new London office to accommodate its growing presence in the region. Joint OMX Baltic Membership To Be Introduced On January 1, 2007

In order to further integrate the Baltic securities market, the stock exchanges in Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius will introduce joint OMX Baltic Membership as of January 1, 2007. Becoming a pan-Baltic member will mean a more streamlined application process and cost-savings for the existing and new members.

Euronext reports record results for the first 3 quarters of 2006. Thanks to high levels of trading activity since the beginning of the year, Euronext revenues amounted to a historical high of €820.0m in the first nine months of 2006, compared to €695.5m (+17.9%) during the same period in 2005. For the third quarter, Q3 2006 outperformed revenues in Q3 2005 by 11.9%, making it the highest third quarter ever.

The Securities and Exchange Commission announced today that 1st Global Capital Corp., a Dallas broker-dealer, will pay a $100,000 penalty and consent to findings that it made unsuitable recommendations and sales of units of tax-advantaged qualified tuition savings plans, commonly known as Section 529 College Savings Plans.

CBOE Files Suit Against ISE

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that it has filed a suit in Cook County, Illinois against the International Securities Exchange, LLC (ISE). Joining CBOE as plaintiffs in this lawsuit are The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. and its Standard & Poor's Division (S&P) and Dow Jones & Company, Inc. (Dow Jones), which exclusively license CBOE to list and trade options based, respectively, on the S&P 500 Index (SPX options) and the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJX options).

The McGraw-Hill Companies Files Lawsuit Against ISE - S&P Acts To Prevent Theft Of Intellectual Property Rights

The McGraw-Hill Companies, on behalf of its financial services division Standard & Poor's, filed a Complaint today in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois against the International Securities Exchange ("ISE") to restrain ISE's threatened acts of listing, trading, profiting from, and clearing options on the S&P 500 Index without a license from Standard & Poor's. McGraw-Hill filed the Complaint jointly with Dow Jones & Company and Chicago Board Options Exchange.
