Nymex To Increase Margin Rates On Spot Month Henry Hub Natural Gas Futures, Swap Futures, And e-miNY<SUP>sm</SUP> Futures Contracts
The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., announced today that it will increase the margins on the spot month of its Henry Hub natural gas futures, swap futures, and e-miNYsm futures contracts at the close of business on December 15.

Fees In Finnish Equity Options Traded At Eurex Reduced In Order To Increase Trading
On January 2, 2004, Eurex, in close coordination with HEX Integrated Markets, will reduce transaction fees for Finnish equity options traded at Eurex. The goal is to enhance the attractiveness of exchange trading in these products and to draw additional business from the over-the- counter (OTC) market. The fee reduction is expected to have a marginal impact on total revenues within HEX Integrated Markets, a division of OMHEX.

Copenhagen Stock Exchange: The KFX Index And The Amalgamation Of Vestas Wind Systems A/S And NEG Micon A/S
The KFX companies Vestas Wind Systems and NEG Micon will be amalgamated according to a company announcement released by the two companies. In this connection the Copenhagen Stock Exchange informs that both companies will continue in the KFX Index until the amalgamation has been implemented.

Chicago Board Of Trade Responds To Frivolous Lawsuit Filed By Eurex U.S.
The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) today filed a motion to dismiss the amended lawsuit brought against the CBOT by Eurex U.S. in the District Court of the District of Columbia. The many grounds for dismissal cited by the exchange include Eurex's failure to state a cause of action under U.S. antitrust laws, as the compliant is legally insufficient. On November 18, 2003, U.S. Futures Exchange, L.L.C. (Eurex US) filed with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission a letter response to the comment letters filed by the Board of Trade of the City of Chicago and others. SWX Indices: Re-Inclusion Of Intershop Into SPI® As Of 29 December 2003
Following correction of the information concerning the holding of the majority shareholder, the SWX Swiss Exchange has decided that Intershop is to be included in the SPI® once again as of 29 December 2003. As it could be proven that the threshold of at least 20 % free float of Intershop bearer shares had been held constant for three months (SPI® Regulations, Art. 1.5.4), the stock will be re-admitted to the SPI® Index on 29 December 2003 after a 14-day notice period has been observed.
