Price Weighting And Diversification Helps NYSE Arca Tech 100 Index Stay Ahead - A 5.88% Increase In April 2007

NYSE Euronext today announced that through a combination of price weighting and a multi-industry approach to technology, the NYSE Arca Tech 100 Index maintained diversification and kept large-cap stocks from exhibiting outsized influence on Index returns. As a result, the Index turned in a 5.88% gain for the month of April, and 6.77% year to date return as of April 30th.

FTSE Group confirms today that Bradford & Bingley will leave the FTSE 100 and be replaced by Barratt Developments. Bradford & Bingley leaves the FTSE 100 after rejoining in September 2006.

London Metal Exchange Modification Of Lending Guidance

The Special Committee has decided to modify the lending guidance in respect of those with nickel positions by introducing new levels at which the holder(s) of dominant long positions are required to lend nickel. This modification shall apply in relation to nickel positions with effect from 0001hrs on 7 June 2007 until further notice. The application of the existing Lending Guidance in relation to all other metals is unaffected.

Citigroup Global Markets To Pay Over $15 Million To Settle Charges Relating To Misleading Documents And Inadequate Disclosure In Retirement Seminars, Meetings For BellSouth Employees - NASD Fines Citigroup $3 Million, Orders $12.2 Million In Restitution T

NASD announced today that it has fined Citigroup Global Markets, Inc., $3 million to settle charges relating to the use of misleading materials in retirement seminars and meetings for BellSouth employees in North Carolina and South Carolina. NASD also ordered Citigroup to pay approximately $12.2 million in restitution to more than 200 former BellSouth employees.
