Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In S&P/TSX Canadian

Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes: On Friday, May 25th, 2007, the shareholders of CryptoLogic Inc. (TSX:CRY) approved the redomicile of the company to Guernsey. As a result, CryptoLogic Inc. will be removed from the S&P/TSX SmallCap and Equity SmallCap Indices effective after the close on Thursday, May 31, 2007. The shareholders of Agricore United (TSX:AU) have accepted the $CDN20.50 per share bid from Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Inc. (

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, May 29, 2007: Vena Resources Inc. (TSXVN:VEM) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to the TSX and will trade under the same ticker symbol.

Securities and Exchange Commission Announces Roundtable Discussion Regarding Rule 12b-1

The Securities and Exchange Commission announced today that it will host a roundtable discussion next month on issues surrounding Rule 12b-1 under the Investment Company Act of 1940. Rule 12b-1 permits mutual funds to use fund assets to finance the distribution of their shares.

May 2007 Monthly Preliminary Performance Report Dow Jones-AIG Commodity Indexes

The Dow Jones-AIG Commodity Index was down 0.49% for the month of May. The Dow Jones-AIG Single Commodity Indexes for Soybean, Coffee and Soybean Oil had the strongest gains with month-to-date returns of 9.35%, 6.36% and 6.13%, respectively. The worst three performing single commodity indexes were Copper, Silver and Gold, which were down 6.64%, 4.24%, and 4.14% in May.
