NYMEX Announces Position Accountability, Reporting Levels For New RBOB Gasoline Contracts

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. today announced the position accountability, expiring month position limits and reporting levels for its RBOB gasoline options and swap futures contracts that will be offered for trading on November 26 for trade date November 27.

CBOT Full-Sized Silver Futures Sets Record Surpassing 11,000 Contracts

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) today announced that trading of its 5,000 oz Silver futures contract reached a new daily open interest record yesterday, hitting 11,000 contracts for the first time. This new record of 11,006 surpasses the previous record of 10,681 contracts set on November 14, 2006.

Minneapolis Grain Exchange Sets Another Membership Record

The Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX or Exchange) announced a record membership sale at $70,000 on Nov. 21. That is nearly three times higher than membership values in November of 2005 when two memberships sold for $27,500.

Two New Lyxor ETFs Launched In The XTF Segment on Xetra Non-Energy Commodity And Turkish Equity ETFs Tradable From November 22

Deutsche Börse has further expanded its XTF segment for exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on the electronic trading platform Xetra. With effect from Wednesday, November 22, investors will be able to invest in two new ETFs issued by Lyxor Asset Management. The new ETFS will offer investors access to non-energy commodity markets as well as Turkish equities.

(TSE) invited Chief Regulatory Officers (CROs) of major exchanges and self-regulatory organizations from all around the world to participate in the CRO International Symposium held at the Hotel Okura. The Symposium attracted over 700 participants consisting of a wide range of parties involved in the securities market, such as market participants, listed companies, regulatory authorities, and academics.
