A six week market wide business continuity exercise led by the Financial Services Authority on behalf of the Tripartite Authorities (Bank of England, HM Treasury and FSA) has made a significant contribution to enhancing the resilience of the UK financial sector.

Osaka Securities Exchange Co., Ltd. (OSE) is pleased to announce today that on November 17, 2006, Nikkei 225 mini futures contract has been ratified and promulgated by Taiwan Securities and Futures Bureau (SFB) Commission. OSE applied to the SFB in this regard in order to acquire more expanded and broader investor base in Taiwanese futures market. In Japan, Nikkei 255 mini contracts have been started trading on July 18, 2006.
