The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) participated in the Sixty-Ninth Annual Meeting of the FEAS Board of Directors and ConFEAS 2024 conference entitled "The Role of Market Infrastructures and Intermediaries in the Economy", which was organized by the FEAS and hosted by both the Uzbek Commodity Exchanges and the Republican Stock Exchange "Toshkent" and with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan during the period 18-20/04/2024.

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that Nathaniel H. Benjamin has been appointed the Director of the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI). Mr. Benjamin will join OMWI from AmeriCorps, where he is the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, on May 5, 2024. Allison Wise, OMWI’s Deputy Director, has served as Acting Director of the Office since October 2023.

On Friday, May 10, Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will preside over a meeting of the Financial Stability Oversight Council (Council) at the Treasury Department. The meeting will consist of an executive session and a public session. The preliminary agenda for the executive session includes an update from the Council’s Financial Market Utilities Committee and an update on market developments related to corporate credit.* The preliminary agenda for the public session includes a presentation and vote on a Council report on nonbank mortgage servicing.
