The BISYS Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: BSYS), of Little Falls, New Jersey, will become a component of the Nasdaq Financial-100 Index®, effective at the beginning of trading Tuesday, October 3, 2000, instead of today as previously announced. BISYS will replace The Pioneer Group, Inc., which is being acquired.

Eurex Posts Third-Best Monthly Total To Date – 41.9 Million Contracts Traded - Record Volumes In

Eurex, the international derivatives market, posted its third-highest volume on a monthly basis in September with 41.9 million contracts traded. This is an increase of 17 percent over the number traded in September 1999. Some 344 million contracts have already been traded during the first three quarters of the current year, about one-fourth more than the total for the same period of last year.

Responding to customer demands for more trading opportunities in the Asian time zone, the Chicago Board of Trade and Eurex today announced the expansion of trading hours for the electronic trading platform a/c/e, alliance/cbot/eurex.
