SGX To Trade All ETFs From 18 Sep

SGX will resume trading of its four US-based Exchange Traded Funds from Tue 18 Sep (Singapore time), in line with the US stock market re-opening on Mon 17 Sep (New York time). These four ETFs are S&P 500 SPDRs®, DJIA DIAMONDS, iSharesSM S&P 500 Index Fund, and iSharesSM Dow Jones U.S. Technology Sector Index Fund. More UK Companies Join FTSE4Good

The first review of FTSE4Good, the innovative SRI index series created by global index group FTSE, is confirmed today. An additional thirty-seven UK companies have met the corporate social responsibility (CSR) entry criteria since the index launched in July, and will be added to the UK benchmark index. The FTSE4Good UK 50, a tradable index which ranks eligible companies by market capitalisation, has four additions and deletions.

LIFFE To List 30 New Universal Stock Futures

Lawsuit Concerning CBOE/CBOT Agreement Dismissed

The Circuit Court of Cook County yesterday dismissed the lawsuit brought by seven CBOE members seeking to prevent the CBOE and CBOT® from enacting any provisions of their recent settlement agreement regarding the exercise right, including CBOE's membership vote on the 2001 Agreement.
