Copenhagen Stock Exchange Announces Transfer of Bond Trading from ELECTRA to SAXESS
In the 4th quarter of 2000, bonds are transferred from the present ELECTRA trading system to the SAXESS trading system. In June 1999, trading in equities listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange was moved to SAXESS.

CBOE Daily Volume Sets New Record
Trading volume at the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) set a new record yesterday amidst heavy trading in options on the Nasdaq 100 Index (DJX) and Dow Jones Industrial Average Index (DJX). An estimated 2,363,737 option contracts traded today, topping the previous record of 2,336,415 option contracts, which was set on Friday, March 16, 2000. Osaka Mercantile Exchange Aluminium Futures Weekly Report
On April 3, OME Aluminium futures opened marginally lower carrying over the weak sentiment that prevailed from the end of last week with distant March contract at 162.4 yen, down 2.3 yen from the last Friday's close on long-liquidation. In the afternoon, distant month extended the loss to 161.0 yen on bears' selling reflecting increasingly bearish prospect as the yen soared up to the 102 yen level amid the easier tone in LME Aluminium.

NASD Pleased With Court Action
The National Association of Securities Dealers (NASDĀ® ) said that it was pleased with the New York State Court denial of the effort to block its membership vote scheduled for Friday. The effort to block the vote was part of a suit filed today in New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan by Zeus Securities, Inc. of Jerico, NY, and the Independent Broker-Dealer Association. The suit had asked the judge to issue a temporary restraining order to halt an NASD member vote on the restructuring schedule

Amsterdam Exchanges Announces Early Exercising Of Equity Options In The Event Of Dividend Distributions
Amsterdam Exchanges has noted that holders of call options frequently do not take the opportunity to exercise their options when dividends are distributed, before the options are due to expire. These option holders therefore miss out on the dividend and in many cases are put at a financial disadvantage.
