Euronext.liffe To Take Over Ownership Of NQLX

Euronext.liffe announced today that it will take over ownership of NQLX, its joint venture with NASDAQ to develop a market for security futures in the US, following NASDAQ's announcement today that the company has decided to relinquish its stake in the joint venture.

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. (NYSE: CME) today announced the successful completion of the offering of 1,220,635 shares of Class A common stock by certain of its shareholders. The company did not sell any shares or receive any proceeds from the sale of stock by its shareholders in the offering. The offering was priced on June 18 at $69.60 per share - the same price as that day's closing price on the New York Stock Exchange - and closed on Tuesday, June 24.

Stock Exchange Of Thailand Board To Enhance Post-Trade System Capacity And Appoints Its Vice Chairman

The SET Board of Governors approved a project to develop the integrated post-trade system that will enhance the capacity and efficiency of all post-trade services, including clearing and settlement, securities registration, back office services, and risk management system. This will make it easier to cope with future business requirements as well as the demands of the derivatives market and the Agricultural Futures Exchange.

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Wednesday, June 25, 2003: United Tex-Sol Mines Inc. (TSXVN:UTX.A) and Royal Victoria Minerals Ltd. (TSXVN:RVM) will be removed from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index. The two companies will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange following their purchase by St. Andrew Goldfields Ltd. (TSX:SAS).
